Our full service studio comprises a casting studio, metal, and carpentry workshops, wardrobe and make-up room, hot desk, dressing room, conference room, and production. One of our key remits is to train  professionals and students in the areas of production, location management, casting, and technical disciplines. The company offers its services to commercials and music videos, as well as to feature film and television production companies.

The Caribbean Production Centre (or CPC) functions as an integral part of Parachute Film Studios from our office in Barbados.

We operate with a network of trusted fixers, production managers and producers throughout the Caribbean islands, and have created great relationships through the islands as well as being knowledgeable about  legal and logistical things you would need to shoot here.

Parachute aims to always build the creative community and the Caribbean community as large.

Here are Parachute’s CSR philosophies;

  1. Reduced carbon footprint
    Parachute uses little to no plastic or styrofoam (cutlery, bottles, etc.) on shoots, we use eco-friendly & biodegradable materials. We recycle wherever possible.
  2. We love Wildlife
    Parachute partners with the Barbados Seas Turtle Project. A percentage of our beach clean up profits are donated to save the project which cares for the indigenous wildlife.
  3. Crew are key
    Parachute ensures fair working hours and correct overtime pay.
  4. Safety net
    Parachute arranges insurance policies (PL+ EL) for the Caribbean crew, and we can arrange and create special policies as needed.
  5. No man is an Island
    Parachute and its team believe in connections, good relationships and most importantly, passing on tradition and skill to feed the industry and stabilise the creative infrastructure. Each shoot has at least 2 trainee members in different departments.
